Was going to fit this to my lude & get it sprayed but need to money for a house now so change of plans

I know If I spend 50-60 quid getting it sprayed the Mrs won't be happy with me! But... I can use the money to cover the cost my 2ws sub frame so then I "haven't" spent anything

Keep it and do it on the sly then sneakily fit it and when she says "Hmm... something looks different" just blame it on monthly lady things and say nothing changed.

I don't tell my girlfriend about any car expenses - if she realised how much I spend on car parts she might ask why that isn't being spent on meals with her, romantic holidays and all that crap anything she does spot, I just reassure her was a part that had to be swapped in advance so as to be fit for the next MOT
