It is with great sadness that due to a recent discovery of a significant amount of rust in the sills I must finally throw in the towel and bid farewell to my beloved 'Lude - 'TLC'.

As many of you know, some 3 years ago I completely refurbished the suspension on her only to see the head gasket go a month after, and I have been attempting to put her back on the road using a donor 2.3 engine ever since. This has not gone smoothly and now with this latest discovery I feel it is now time to call it a day.

I will be stripping her over the course of the next month and selling off anything you guys need in phases, so at least she'll go on to help you all out. Let me know if anyone wants anything specific and I'll set it aside.

IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ THIS BIT!
Please bear in mind when buying, all of these parts were for a 4th Gen BB2 H23A2 (2.3i), so some might not be usable on the 4th Gen 2.2vtec.

I'll buy the whole Gates Belt kit and waterpump and the rocker cover gasket.
Do you know off the bat, if they will fit a 2,2 vtec lude, 1993?

Hi mate - Honestly not sure, it's a bit doubtful TBH but I'll try and find out for you and let you know.

hello matey think my list might turn into a big one once your sale gets going so maybe hold my parts till the end will pay for them as i go but if i end up with alot i might come and collect , so please can i have oil filter , exhaust gasket , is the rad suitable for a vtec engine do you no as i am pulling my 2l to drop in a 2.2 vtec if so i will have that also plus the wind deflectors once removed

Hi mate,
The sale is likely to take over a month - my donor car is going to the scrapper tomorrow clearing space to pull the 'Lude out of the garage to start stripping parts.
I would rather start shipping by phases as I really want to avoid having piles of parts kicking about while I strip her down as I have already had a lot of interest on various things (I'll have to check, but I think someone has already dibbed the wind deflectors )
Please check on the exhaust gasket as I'm not sure if it'll fit a 2.2 vtec.
Still want the oil filter?

UPDATE - I see that was you that dibbed the wind deflectors - I can whip those off and add them to whatever you want from this engine sale when I go to post if you want..

None of it will, 5he belt has a different amount of teeth, the water pump is different and so is the rocker cover
