Unfortunately. these item were sold to me. I'm not sure if I like the lexus lights or not but fancied something different, so bought these.
I use the word 'unfortunately' as the sale wasnt as smooth as I would have hoped for. Ziyaan seemed a friendly genuine guy to start with so I made a paypal personal payment, thus avoided any fees.

A week after making that payment I had my radiator spring a leak, and so posted a thread asking if anybody had one for sale. Ziyaan responded and offered to sell me one and mentioned that he hadnt sent the lights yet, but had arranged a collection for the following day.
I declined his offer and bought a new one off ebay. Despite his promise of the arranged collection, 6 days later I had still not recieved the lights, so PM'd him again to ask about the delivery. I am generally happy to wait for anything to be delivered, if I am kept informed and expect to have to wait (particularly as I was in no rush to get my rear lights changed). However that information wasnt forthcoming on this occasion so I began to get frustrated.

In fairness to ziyaan, he offered me a refund, which I said I would decline if the delivery was going to turn up anytime, but would accept if there were going to be further delays.
The next day this arrived:

Two weeks later and a broken light arrives! Again I PM ziyaan, who tells me I can claim against the carrier. The broken section was not in the box, but there were some small tears in the corners, so the damage might have occured in transit. Neither light was wrapped to offer and protection against damage, but merely both thrown in a box and taped up. I replied to say that I felt he should make the claim as it was he that arranged, and paid for the service.
I had no response so assumed this was going ahead. Its now a couple of weeks later so I again PM'd him to chck on progress. He tells me 'You either call the carrier yourself as the lights are covered under the carrier basic insurance or deal with it'.

I will never truly know if he boxed up damaged items, or knew that was the case. His reluctance to contact his parcel service provider to complain certainly makes me doubt his word slightly.
I am less than happy, so havent been very pleasant with him, though draw the line at reaching the depths he has gone to with the insults in the messages that followed.
He seems to have quite a few 'lude parts for sale, so may be a usefull supplier to many peoiple, but i would strongly recommend anyone collecting their parts, from him, to check on what they are buying and ensure nothing is damaged due to not be packed well.

I didn't break anything & I'm not dishonest
If there has ever been a mistake on my part I have sorted it
& I have always kept to my word

I never promised you next day delivery
The item was £30 delivered I offered a refund, you didnt accept it
But you want me to claim insurance for you ?

I'm not here to argue anymore i cant be bothered you refused the refund But keep complaining
You were rude with me more then once i kept my patience but finally you got my response

+1

you should deal with it as you would have been the one who got a receipt for postage :!: also an item like this should have been packed well :?

I, for one, dispute that claim.

I didnt expect next day, but nor did I expect delivery to take a week from the day you claimed collection had been arranged. Yes, I did want you to claim insurance from your carrier after you failed to make any effort to package the lights to prevent damage.

I didnt contact you to argue - I wanted to give you chance to rectify a problem as most people would want to do, in a forum environment. I did get your response and wasnt happy with the insulting nature. Hence why I chose to make the situation public. Happy to post all our PM communication here if you want me to?

Luckily £30 isnt the end of the world, but it does leave a bitter taste knowing that the price would have been reasonable had they arrived in good condition. I would have been happy to pay a tenner or so just to have them fitted to decide if I liked lexus lights or not, but struggling to accept ziyaan's unhelpful irresponsible attitude when he knows he hasnt been fair.

i would look at the terms for the courier company. quite possible they wont pay out for insufficienly packages items or items not checked ib delivery !

either way the person who arranged delivery is generally the only one who can make the claim
