Custom made jdm decat pipes 2.5' only 3 left!!!

Post by 106pete » Wed Jan 09, 2013 8:57 am

I've made up 7 decats which I can now offer forsale, they are a perfect copy of jdm cat with angles on both flanges as standard and proper stainless 2.5' exhaust pipes and stainless steel 6mm flanges.

These come complete with bolts, spring washers, nuts, front and back joints ready to fit.

Here's one fitted to a 5g type s

To the type s boys, they fit nicely the 10mm difference in lenght is the angle, it works quite nicely tho by lifting the flexi joint up and away from speed bumps.

The joints have arrived, the fronts arnt as great as I expected but they will work, I just have to slot the holes a little. You can chose to not use one and fit a new crush ring or just use exhaust paste!

Please note these are for jdm cars, the uk manifolds are different angles and bolt pattern, they can be made to fit but at your own risk. If I get enough interest I can try to make some specially adapted to uk manifolds.

Thanks pete

So I'm told by 4gphil they are different, but the type s on my drive atm has the same size as standard jdm and will be getting one of these fitted shortly.

I suggest the best thing to do is get a rough size of your cat and let me know, if its close enough then I don't see it being a problem, or send me a type s cat and I can make up one specially?

Edit: had a quick look on google, seems the front flange is 180deg rotated so it would be best to send one down if possible??

I stared a discussion on the size of Type-S CATs a while back. Owners said that the size was 25.5cm long Vs 26.5cm for the regular JDM CAT.

I can make one shorter no problem but the yanks seem to think the flange was on upside down? Has no one got one spare?

And your cat too.

Haha

If anyone wants a lambda boss or heat sensor boss welded in, I'll look into it but shouldn't be a problem if you need it.
