As I haven't played for at least 10 years, its probably time to sell these on.

Firstly, an Epiphone Flying V Gothic.

These aren't made anymore, but they turn up now and then on ebay.
Satin black finish, with rosewood fingerboard. Twin Humbucker open coil pickups.
Very nicely made, and still in mint condition. Still has the cellophane protection on the scratchplate and the jack surround.
Comes with a padded gigbag (which it has spent almost all of its life in), and a strap.

Next, a Squier Strat.

Sunburst finish, rosewood (I think) fingerboard, in excellent condition, just a little discolouration on the volume knob.
Single coil pickups, blah blah blah.
Comes in a light slip case.

Hokada Acoustic

My first guitar, steel strung.
Not bad condition, though it looks like the back of the bridge is starting to lift, and there is a possible crack on one of the tuning pegs.

yes the squire guitar has a rosewood fretboard - for those that dont know squire is owned by fender and its basically a fender stratocaster made by fender in the far east but sold under the squire name so as not to take sales away from the far more expensive usa fender models. looks in very good condition. £50 is a bargain imo.

squier is just the budget fender brand. saying its just like a strat is a bit far fetched. its the same design but obviously the quality isnt the same. Same applies to epiphone for gibsons.
Im not saying there bad but saying there basically the same is a bit misleading.

fair enough bud - i was just talking from personal experience of playing them
im sticking with my lawsuit tokai so good that fender closed them down - a lot of musicians thought the tokai was better than the fender but thats just another opinion
but your right in saying that its the budget range and not the same quality as a genuine fender strat - a quick look on ebay will confirm that

Please hold on to at least one guitar ...

Ill agree with that we have a guitar in our house. It only has 3 strings but my daughter like to play with it lol

I bought my lad an Epiphone (2nd hand, but as good as new). It is a lovely guitar, very well made.

In fact it is a much better quality than the Gibson he has, somewhat bigger too....
