Freshly refurbished Tanabe Sustec Front Strut Brace, with newly powder-coated brackets and new nuts and bolts... £80 or near offer. Postage £10-£15 I imagine.

EDIT: I will point out there are a few scratches evident when you examine the bar, but they aren't noticable once stood back (ie. looking into an engine bay).

For a 4th or 5th gen or are the fittings exactly the same?

The fitting are the same, but the 5th gen's suspension is wider at the front. If there is enough adjustment in the above strut brace, it will fit a 5th gen.

Do we know the centres at all? @Merlin, you have one of each... Are you able to measure the difference?

There's a good amount of adjustment in these...

I can measure my 5th gen Ebay brace if you like?

Yeah that'll work.

Cool I'll get that. When I tried to fit an Ebay 5th gen brace to a 4th I had to cut about 1" off each end.

Blimey 2 inches?!

If you can set it up so that it'd fit a 5th gen, then measure between the eye bolts, then down each leg and then from the leg to the further hole (but parallel to the bar) then that should give me enough to do a comparison. Cheers Merl.

This should be enough for a ballpark comparison.
