2.3 vtec engine

if ...IF this is a 2.3 vtec and not a 2.2 vtec engine, arnt these rare as hens teeth?

Didn't know Honda had ever made them, thought they were 'built' only.
That's serious serious bucks though... Could build one for less than that?

They've been trying to shift that for ages. The picture isn't of the engine for sale and I enquired about this engine with these guys last time someone posted it up on here. I asked for details and a picture of the stamp on the engine block. They said they'd get back to me, but never did. I'm a bit sceptical that the engine they actually have for sale is what they say it is.

i would be skeptical too as its listed as a Prelude engine and the H23A vtec was only used in the Accord wagon sir.
