Thoughts on these? Worth it after a bit of a lick of paint?

Always a gamble, but cheap enough and that could well be a bargain.
Worth asking if they know how many miles they've done and if they've been stood for a prolonged period of time at all.

I had these and IIRC they are very stiff even at the softest setting, not sure of the spring rates now. Nice bit of kit though, just check for leaks also

Problem with these style of coilovers is you lower the car by compressing the spring instead of pre loading the spring and using the dampener shock to raise/lower the car. Changes the handling alot.
Worth a punt i rekon though.

Thanks for your input gents
I decided against getting them as my last 2 set-ups have been bone shuddering-ly hard and with the roads up here, i was finding that the harsh ride was actually slowing me down
( in other words, i was outbid

)
Gonna save up and do it properly, probably with a set of Meister R's

This a thousand times

used to be able to get from mine to my dad's house in 20 minutes, now takes more like 30-35.

Very good suspension! I'm lucky enough to have some courtesy of Mr Dino breaking another car
Set up is pretty stiff I've got the dampers turned up about 2/3rds of the way but if you turn them right down the ride is pretty soft.
