Thoughts on these? Worth it after a bit of a lick of paint? :?:

Always a gamble, but cheap enough and that could well be a bargain.

Worth asking if they know how many miles they've done and if they've been stood for a prolonged period of time at all.

I had these and IIRC they are very stiff even at the softest setting, not sure of the spring rates now. Nice bit of kit though, just check for leaks also :)

Problem with these style of coilovers is you lower the car by compressing the spring instead of pre loading the spring and using the dampener shock to raise/lower the car. Changes the handling alot.
Worth a punt i rekon though.

Thanks for your input gents :D

I decided against getting them as my last 2 set-ups have been bone shuddering-ly hard and with the roads up here, i was finding that the harsh ride was actually slowing me down

( in other words, i was outbid  )

Gonna save up and do it properly, probably with a set of Meister R's

This a thousand times  used to be able to get from mine to my dad's house in 20 minutes, now takes more like 30-35.

Very good suspension! I'm lucky enough to have some courtesy of Mr Dino breaking another car

Set up is pretty stiff I've got the dampers turned up about 2/3rds of the way but if you turn them right down the ride is pretty soft.
