5G 2.0 and 2.2 Suspension Interchangeability

Post by Ailfenergy » Fri Jun 28, 2013 8:09 pm

One of my friends owns 2,0 5G Lude. Couple of days ago he was offered to buy 2.2 lude without engine and gearbox for less than scrap value. It's hard to source some parts for Lude in my country, so he is wondering if he could use some bits of 2.2 suspension on his 2.0? He has a garage so storage of the parts won't be a problem.
Which parts are different?

It's all the same and is totally interchangeable, even between 4th gens and 5th gens.

i was thinking more in the lines of, if the 2.2 was a 5th gen then he could also up rate the brakes and hubs to the larger discs, calipers, carriers, and have 5 studs, also if its a 5th then the top and bottom wishbones on the front (as they are different from the 4th) could be kept as spares, also thicker anti-roll bars.
