Sticking Brake?

I think it is the seal that pulls back the piston so unless you can refurb a calliper (if the piston is the problem) then you may need to get a reconditioned calliper

Ive had to replace my 2 front calipers as they both seized changed the front left coz the piston wasnt returning and brakes ended up getting that hot they where smoking on long journeys so changed that then 2 months later the drivers side front done exactly the same it was lucky i had a spare car that had good calipers i hope u get urs sorted mate

well after being told the front brakes are fine (bollocks) I've had another look myself and found one of the slides sticks a bit and the pads aren't moving freely either.

So the plan is to clean up the carriers, pads and shims, apply lashings of copper slip and clean and re grease to slides and hopefully will sort the sticking.

Ive also noticed after looking everywhere for silicone grease that its the same as thermal paste you put on cpu's/heatsinks when building a PC.
