Knocking sound / drop links

Post by onemove » Sat Jan 26, 2013 6:06 pm

Hi,

I have a knocking coming from fornt and back on my 5G, 2.0i, I was told on a seperate thread that it is almost certainly the drop links. I've found some on ebay, looked under the car today to see if the rubber are perished etc, but couldnt find them lol.

How many do I have, I assume four, and I guess I should change all four?

Any advice welcome

Yeah you have 4 ;)

Unless you go to Honda they're not too pricey, might as well do all 4.

Have you looked? They're on the ends of the ARBs.

Chances are it's shock knock, which always seems to be worse at this time of year.

Mine's been bonging a bit over road tits. It gets better as the weather warms up.

Theres's a good guide n the how to section.

Mines been knocking like hell lately, but absolutely nothing came up on the rear suspension during its MOT today.
