:facepalm: At least I now know what one looks like!

There are a few used ones on eBay UK, although they don't state anything about having/not having ABS, which by your question I'm now assuming means they're different :P

i think they are, the abs model is bigger IIRC ;) 1 inch as opposed to 15/16ths (from memory)

Sorry I haven't replied sooner, reception is chronic in south Wales!
The mechanic I spoke to tells me that the MC that was on my life was a civic MC. There are other civic parts under the bonnet as well, so it wouldn't surprise me if this is the case with the MC. Problem is I can't lay my hands on a civic MC even if I wanted to.. that aside it took ages to find a new prelude one!
I'll be back in blighty tomoz so I'll be able to check myself - I was hoping to get it sorted wile I was here with the mechanic instead of doing it over the phone next week.
Thanks for your suggestions though guys, loved the one about mounting it upside down!
