drokk it ill just leave it then and blank off the power input for the steering rack. Cant be dealing with issues =p Im guessing as well im going to have the 4WS light on my dash??

no the light on the dash doesnt do anything now because the ecu's not there :)

is the abs controlled by the same ecu? as some 4WS ecus says abs on them too :?:

Sensors -> ABS ECU -> 4WS ECU

You should be fine removing the last link in the chain.

When i do mine ill take aload of pictures etc of when im doing it. Maybe even make a guide for it in more detail...

My 4ws ecu had abs written on it in green but the abs and traction control still work fine with it removed, not sure how much longer for though as that might be next on the list.

when I removed my 4ws ecu I could have sworn I locked up once

i'm not 100% it works without the 4ws ecu, not sure why as abs should have its own ecu

I would possibly leave the ecu in, and just remove the 4ws bulb from the dash
