i'm glad it's not just me that struggles - i don't get close to the kerb in the lude - i'll go in and when i turn the other way, the rear either comes away from the kerb, or if i've got it right, then i get close to the pavement and the steering angle on the rear pushes the edge of the wheel into the kerb with the car straight :x

and setting off from a tight space, if i'm too close, the rear swings out the wrong way and into the kerb!

so i find i actually have to park at least 3-4 inches away.

I'm a bit paranoid about ruining my mugen wheels  but it's not so bad not I've got standard profile tyres on there.

I love the way it drives but I really think for parking that 4WS is a bit of an arse. I've not had to reverse parallel park today, instead there was a big space along the curb so I drove in front-ways. A couple of metres before stopping, I bring the front in a bit closer, and the back steps out! Grr...

I've always been surprised there's no option to turn 4WS off. ... And surprised no-one else has ever modified it to turn off (and lock off).
There is. It is called clipping the kerb to turn it off and then pulling the radio fuse in/out to turn it on

I used to love parking with 4WS though, i found it felt quite natural to get it straight.
