That sounds like the type i have. Whats the underside of the motor look like, can you see how it attaches to the newer type of suock?

it could be something todo with I dont know what thouh so you are best to call tein uk and ask them specifically mate.

Well looking at those two pictures, the larger female thread of the unit screws down on to the main shaft of the shock, then the small hex head of the unit simply goes down inside the adjuster and acts as the allen key. Actually really simple, so wouldn't take a great deal of effort to replicate.

Ah yes, you tried my motors at a show didn't you James? So might not be any good.

I'll get some pics up of them later, might help find someone with the right ones. :?

The motors alone on Camskill are £113!! :shock:

I also noticed there are a few different models of motors with "m" numbers, like M10, M12 and M14. I wonder if that could correspond to thread sizes :?: ... Or whether it's just coincidence.

That's just a stepper motor with a tein branded plastic cover on it, by the looks...
And a hex drive adapter screwed on the end.

Yup, it doesn't look anything out of the ordinary & looks like something used on some basic CNC machines. There are a set on eBay for £40 each with offers.
