They've fixed everything they broke for free as well right? :? That's ridiculous!
Apparently they didn't break anything, it's old so it was likely to break anyway

Now I've got my car back I'll be getting in touch with customer services.

Yes

I won't be going back to any of their 'garages' which is annoying because I've always had really good service in the past when I've needed something doing in a hurry. I've always defended them when people put them down as well.

Upper ball joints can be hammered out if you have something to cup the underside of the arm, like a big socket. Remove the circlip and hammer out the old ball joint, flip it over and hammer in the new one. The rubber boots are too big to go through the hole so you have to remove it and put the boot back on once the balljoint is in place.

Its probably best to buy a new arm anyway as if your ball joint is goosed more than likely the bushes in the arm are shot as well. So the only senario where you would only replace the ball joint is when you are polybushing the top arms.

I forgot to add, they also managed to split the opposite side ARB bush. :o but they changed that for free :D

The car handles like it's on rails now though, don't know what sorted it.....the coil spring, the upper ball joint, the ARB bushes or the tracking.

Most likely.

Also it doesn't hesitate at low rpm any more since the petrol tank was refurbed.
