Right, so ive been out at this damn thing last few days.

Was out this morning from 11am till 4pm, in the freezing cold, rain, wind, and some snow, pissing about with this suspension.

So i had an idea to 100% make sure it was the shock that was knocking, so i removed both in order to switch them over to the opposite side. Decided to strip both them down to also make sure they were built up correctly. The side that was knocking had a couple of extra washers on it compared to other side, so removed these and built it back up same as the side that wasn't knocking.

Also lowered them down another 10mm ish and put them back on. On way to the gym, and on the way home, no knocking. :? :? Its a 4 mile round journey with the shittest of roads, and a good few speedbumps, so it got a good run.

Any idea's?? Only thing ive done different is removed the extra washers that were on it, and lowered it slightly. Good news non the less, but has got me slightly stumped.

Could be that the shocks werent fitting into the top hats well with the extra washer.

Lewis, think they were lowered about 50mm

What alex said really as well Nik. The washer could of been stopping the spring sitting correctly in the top mount and caused a slight knocking. Who knows....

The extra washers are a common "fix" for shock knock, the idea is to take up play in the top mount

You've probably installed them correctly this time hence they aren't knocking
