Sorry, the edit removed the bit where i said the manual wasnt very clear on the removal procedure!
It doesnt look too hard so will give it a go soon.

Unfortunately i have just been out and the car wont start, so im gonna have to try and sort that first.

So i have replaced the battery and the alternator and the car is running again, but unfortunately im losing a massive amount of coolant and cant see any obvious leaks, so need to sort that before i attemp the 4ws. what a nightmare.

Right, so after getting everything else sorted i pulled apart the dash today and popped a bulb in for the 4ws. the light stays on when i start the engine. i bridged the blue connector to try and get some error codes, but when i turn the ignition to stage II, the light comes on and then immediatly goes off again. No flashing of codes.

What could be the issue here? am i bridging the correct connector?

Why we checking 4ws? It's the tyres and tracking guaranteed.

Maybe so, but if the 4ws light is on and the back wheels arent moving, surely its a good idea to look into sorting that out?

People are saying its not good to be driving it if the 4ws isnt working?
