Anyone Running Tein Coilovers.....?

Easy boys,

I'm working on a little project at the moment and I'm after some info regarding Tein Coilovers.

Basically all I need to know is: When you adjust the damping on the strut top....

1) How many total shaft rotations from fully soft to fully hard?

2) What is the diameter & thread pitch of the shock shaft?

I'm guessing this is directed more to the EJ/EK boys but more than likely it's the same for the majority of Tein Coilovers.

I asked these questions on the CivicLife forum but they couldn't seem to wrap their tiny minds around the questions...it's not exactly a complicated request lol.

Basically, all i need is for someone to go to their tein coilovers, measure the shaft diameter of main strut thread (M10 x ?, M12 x ? or M14 x ?) and the thread pitch...then all i need finally is the amount of times the adjuster shaft rotates.

i.e. if coilovers are on completely soft setting, rotating clockwise will make them stiffer but the shaft rotates more than 360deg, more like 720+deg but i just need to know how many revolutions.

if i had a set of these myself then i wouldn't be asking the question but i need to compare the shaft thread to my ohlins.

cheers guys

No probs mate. GLWTS and which version you wanna use? I was thinking about the one with GPS and G-sensor which is amazing but also tooo expensive for me

definately going to be the fully active EDFC version....might hold out until the "Pro" version is available as it has lateral G-force sensing and direct speed input.

me want!
