Rear suspension strut bolt

So today I went to fit my coilovers.

Upon removing the bottom bolt from the OEM strut, I found that the nut is a captive one (part of the bracket) and as such I can't use it on the coilovers.

Does anyone have a part number for the correct nut I need, or can I just pop to the local motor factors and use any nut that will fit?!

Yeah on the rears.

Mine don't have captive's on them, just normal hole on each side.

Yeah, the nut from the front's seemed to fit not problem, so assuming I could just get 2 of those and should be OK.

2 ways mate - you can cut tha nut from standart shocks or get one from someone who breake Prelude - front shock mount forks have the same size bolt and nut

Yeah thought so, although I think the bolt is slightly longer, but thread size and pitch seem to be the same so the nut should be good.

Maybe bolt is longer but you do not need to use front bolt - just nut, and tha fit because I did that on my BC coilovers ;)

could you not just pop to b&q,wickes etc and just get a nut and bot around the same dimensions??
