CV joints availability

Just wondering, how easy is it to get hold of replacement CV joints?

Just phoned up the garage, they've had problems getting one, so ended up sending the original to be manufactured (he did give a company name, I can't remember who it was though).

The car has been on the ramps for a couple of weeks now, so I don't think he's messing me about.

For a 4G? Mega easy man.

That's one from the bay, but my local motorfactors can get them too, usually same day.

Supposedly the one the motorfactors sent out didn't fit, this is now making me think the previous one may have been the wrong one that somebody has fudged on there :?

Hopefully should be getting it back this weekend.

Fingers crossed dude, it may have been a different one that just happened to fit well enough. Stock kit is fairly easy to get and Honda will always happily sell you one, expensive but some stuff I would prefer to buy from them.

Could they have sent the 2.0 by mistake instead fo the 2.2?

It wasn't a simple ABS/no ABS issue was it? (ie. lack of teeth and you have ABS)
