atr front caliper upgrade

Post by secla » Thu Apr 19, 2012 9:24 pm

Do they fit with the oem 16" 5th gen wheels or do you need to go up to 17" ?
Need to do the front discs and pads and it may well be a good time to upgrade but i dont want to have to put new alloys on aswell.

As far as I know 16" is fine. I'm pretty sure I read that in another thread :?

The pads are the same for Prelude VTECs and Accord Type R.
If you have the calipers AND the carriers you will be able to use the bigger discs.
If you have only the calipers then you can only use your existing Prelude discs.
But pads are all the same.

Toyracer tried my OEM 16" wheels on his ATR so I can confirm they will fit. :!:

They do, just! There is like 1 or 2mm to spare. That was with 16" dc2 wheels;
