Lude Generation

has anyone had any experiance with them?

i was looking at these as i have a set of 16" SA3R's in the garage in 4x100 and a prelude with 16" motegi wheels with no centre caps but brand new tyres!

Interesting. I've never used spacers but I did look in to it, just make sure you get a good quality brand! They ARE holding the wheels on

What about a set of "wobble bolts" ? If I understand right your trying to put on 4x100 ?

I can't remember what forum I read about them on now.. I'll go have a look..

Wobble bolts only move 2 mm I believe and we need 4.4mm

Those wheel spacers don't look to have any center spigot? I've used loads of spacers in the past but I don't really know how they work when the prelude has studs, the adapters must be the depth of the stud or else they will clash with the wheel back? And there like 35mm long so it would push the wheels out prob past the arch?

The listing says if your studs are too long you have to cut them back Looks like if you use them you're stuck with them!! Just out of interest, how do they do up on the studs?? Is there a retained bolt or something because I can't see how they'd screw on otherwise

The idea works, but you have to cut down your studs like has been said, or you can remove the studs and tap a thread into the hub depending on the hub thickness (and what it a safe thread depth... Probably not enough on a lude hub).

But those spacers seem cheap You should be looking to pay over £150 for decent branded, decent made ones.

i'll just keep my eyes open for a set of 4x114.3's then

The 4x100 alloys you have, do they have hollows in the back between the bolt holes? Might get away with using the default studs without cutting them down then?

good call, i'll dig them out, i do have a sneeky suspicion they dont though!

Lemon's given me another idea. If you've got the centre caps and nuts for SA3Rs and they don't have hollows in the backs between the bolt holes, you could simply get them redrilled with a 114.3 PCD... The centre caps would then cover up the original bolt holes
