I disagree.

OP, perform the electronic sensor check as detailed in the manual and go from there.
I tried this, same issue I'm afraid. Could it be a faulty angle sensor?

Is this the sensor in question?

yes i had problem with that one and also got code 20 and couldn't reset 4ws until i changed that one on steering rack, one under steering wheel was ok

But as wurlycorner said, the 4th Gen doesn't have reset procedure like the 5th Gen does. But if the steering wheel adjustment doesn't work, ill be moving on to the steering rack one.

reset procedure is same for 4th and 5th gen, that's why i told him to find someone to borrow him that sensor, i borrowed sub and main front and 4ws ecu, first part i tried was ecu no luck, second part was sub sensor on steering rack, after i found i can reset 4ws just bought sub sensor and till then is ok, 3 months and around 13000 km, i paid around 15 pounds used one

Hi mate, not yet... The car is going to Matt @Ref-R Performance next month and he is going to calibrate the sensors and see how it gets on. I'll keep this post updated as I'm sure many get this issue and just keep on disconnecting and reconnecting the ECU battery or pulling out the fuse.
