Top wishbones

Post by NCCMUR » Tue Aug 01, 2017 3:33 pm

Hi guys
Front upper wishbone is rattling its tits off
Contacted a few places to price wishbones and all of them said there are seperate balljoints available??
I was under the impression that 5th gen were complete units only??
Anyone had similar issues and is this correct
Cheers

You can buy ball joints separate for them but ur probably best buying a hole new wishbone, what prices were you for a new wishbone?

ive replaced ball joints on 4th gen upper arms and found the replacement ball joints had worked loose so if your going that route then maybe get them tack welded to be sure prob best going for replacement arms blueprint or similar. ebay will have plenty to choose from and front ones arent too expensive :)

Parkers do then for £130ish best just getting the new complete wishbone plus that makes it alot easier to fit rather than pressing in a new balljoint

Sorry if I've missed it but which side is it? I have a front driver side UK one, balljoint is in great condition including the boot, i don't think its that old, cant remember if its polybushed or not but let me know if you want it.
