MOT inspection check

Post by kordafish » Tue Jul 31, 2018 7:31 pm

Took the old girl for a mock MOT, glad I did since it would have failed if it had been a real MOT :o The one thing that has been highlighted is "Off side front steel rack boot split".

I've checked Lings parts lists and I'm not sure exactly what I need to purchase since the MOT description is a bit vague to me, can anyone help with working out exactly what failed as per MOT description so I can source a replacement?

Cheers

i am thinking this "Off side front steel rack boot split". should read off side front steering rack boot split :)
success is the ability to go from one failure to the next without any loss of enthusiasm :D :D

That'd be my guess.

I recently had my lude MOT'd under the new rules.

The off side front steering rack boot was split but only put down as "advisory", not fail!!
