My wedsport sa90 17x7.5 et43 with 215/45/17 rubbed on the back bumper tabs. Easy to shaven haven off.
17x7.5 et45 is nice and safe.

Hmmm strange. I just dropped one of my rims off to get a flat spot removed today. When I get it back I'll double check the offset.

Just got my rim back. It is 100% 8" wide with an offset of +43. It's stamped on there and I even measured it to double check 
8" inside lip to inside lip.
226mm wide overall. 156mm from the back edge to the mating face, 70mm from the outside edge to the mating face.
226/2=113, 113-70=43
