Correct tyre size for a 16inch Alloy wheels?

I need to buy 4 new tyres... going for Uniroyal Rainsport 2 as i had them on my civic and couldn't fault them.

Anyway, i notice the price difference is massive on different tyre profiles... so what is the correct one?

I will be lowering the car if that makes any difference.

I put 205/45 rain sport 2's on mine a couple weeks ago but that does make the wheel a bit smaller. If you go for 205/50 I think it's about the same as OEM size

205/50/16 is the stovck size. Stick with that,
What width are the wheels. You can use 225/45/16 if 7".

Check this out - the Hankooks came 2nd & are really good value. I had rs2's on my track car & loved them, so now got these on my road car;
