Any 4ws cautions before changing wheels?

Post by Phil87 » Sun Aug 25, 2019 8:41 pm

Currently have '16 sawblades on my 5th gen and have a set of' 17 motegi wheels ready to go off to be refurbed. Has anyone changed wheel size before and encountered 4ws issues at all?
I am very nervous after replacing my steering wheel on previous 5th gen prelude and breaking the 4ws so just thought I would check before going ahead with replacing the wheels!!

should be fine as long as you get the correct tyre size not sure what it is for a 5th gen
if you have lowered the car you may need to take it for a wheel alignment after fitting the new wheels but see how you go first.
there used to be a table of tyre sizes on here but cant find it....

I saw no problems when I put 17s on both our 5Gs.
