Speedline/Enkei Motegi Wheels?

Post by Jackson Bondy » Sun Nov 10, 2019 2:41 pm

Hi folks,

Does anyone know if the Motegi alloys are all Enkei for the Lude and Speedline for the ATR?
Did they change the manufacturer during the production run or did they change it for the ATR only when that was launched?

Seems odd to change the manufacturer unless they were having quality/supply issues.

Just about to pick up a Speedline set to replace my Enkei ones and it's made me curious but I can't seem to find any information

Speedline/Enkei Motegi Wheels?

Post by Scott560 » Sun Nov 10, 2019 8:27 pm

I was told that there was a switch - I cant remember from which to which or when, but half way through there was a change. I was told this by matt @ HondR i seem to recall - not sure how we got onto that conversation...

I don't know what years the ATR was available (after lude/motegi?) so suspect that ATR ones will not be identical to earlier ones?

My motegi rims are enkei - they came from a member on here in scotland. The ATR ones, regardless of rim - seem to have the silver center cap/emblem inlaid with red.

The Motegi centers are a raised black dome cap , with silver honda inlay.
