Firstly, it'd be a good idea to have a "What have I done for you lately" sticky post, where people can show/talk about what they've done to their Prelude; works well on other forums that I've seen it on.

I'll start it off with the front callipers, which looked beyond repair, but were shot-blast and repainted as follows:

Always worth checking the pistons aswell if the caliper is off. Its quite surprising how bad they can go. new pistons/seals/dustcover generally is not that expensive.

They've had new seals, inner and sleeve, new pistons, new bleed screws and new sliders/rubbers for the carriers.... :D

The painting is a fair old schlep, to do it properly it takes about 6-8 light coats, at least an hour inbetween each coat, and then a fiddle around with a small brush at the end to finish the small spots you've messed. To do 4 callipers, and 4 carriers, it's easily 2-3 days in total.....:-)

Powder coating would be quicker, and probably only £60-£80, but in doing it yourself you soon learn how to rebuild a calliper and learn to paint properly! :D

Yep, as Drax has said, that's a thread that's been running for a lot of years now - not restricted to just lude activity though, can post up anything in there.
Could hold this open as just a mini-lude jobs thread as you suggest, but it might be best just to stick to the general one already running.
You ok with that, Eddie? If so, we'll move these posts over there.
