universal ball joint
Those things might be crap. I tried to get some for a civic lower ball joint and the fit was terrible, wasn't worth fitting in the end. If you can , try and get the OE part from Honda if its separately listed (was for the civic). Given that the fit is critical to its function (keep in grease, keep dirt out), for all the faff involved removing and putting it on - only bother doing it if the part is a really good fit, otherwise you are just wasting time IMO.

As for fitting bushes - its hard work to remove all the old bushes (cut/burn/press). Don't fit rock hard ones if you have a choice. Honda workshop manual will list the procedures for removing suspension components.

Dont suppose you have a link to the workshop manual at all?
Yeah i know the universal ones are normally a pretty bad fit but it was just to get it through the mot. I will check with honda and see how much they are.
