Lower steering ratio in Gen 4

Hi.

Could not find related topic here.
So, the issue is, that current ratio, I think, is 15.++ takes ages to navigate. Specially on track.
Are there any known solutions to replace the rack for quicker one?
Drilling new holes for steering tie rods are not an option. :)

no ones that i know but Merlin or others might have looked at this
i take it your lude is the 4th gen 2ws?

After spending the last 3 months searching for just a replacement steering rack (though I'd have gone with uprated) and finding nothing, nothing new, nothing refurbed, nothing, I'd say there is nothing out there.

Smaller steering wheel?

You are right, 2ws and as noted, 4th gen .

Yes, the smaller steering wheel is an option. However, since the rack has a play and is slightly leaking, it must be replaced anyway..
