Completely lost the nack to reverse parallel park my 4WS!

I learnt to drive and passed my test in the Prelude
When that was all I drove, it was easy to handle parking etc.
Now I regularly drive other cars, I've completely forgotten how to reverse parallel park with 4WS!
I always seem to end up with the rear sticking out a bit because as I swing the front in the back turns out. Meh

I've always been surprised there's no option to turn 4WS off. ... And surprised no-one else has ever modified it to turn off (and lock off).

Why would you want to do that?

Nah, it's the business for parallel parking. Lets you use spaces other cars actively avoid. Just takes you brain a minute to click into 4WS mode (as judderod has discovered)

And for track? For people that don't like any help with handling?

Hah! This coming from an ATTS boy?

Besides, it kicks ass on track

But seriously how do you do it
I either end up driving all over the curb and then as I bring the front in the back pops off the curb and it parks perfectly. Or I keep away from the curb and the rear wheels steer too far away from it as I bring the front in

I said it's for the people who don't like any aid in their driving..

I on the other hand want all the help I can get. ATTS for the win. (Another Top Turning Solution)

Talking from complete inexperience here, but should you maybe start slightly further away from the side of the car to be in front, then turn in slightly later than you would a regular car? You'd then come into position with all four wheels still turned, but then bring them back to parallel once you're in position and not still rolling.
