Braided Brake Lines

Post by Roystan » Thu May 31, 2012 10:09 am

I'm looking to order some brakelines today...

wanted to know if i was ordering the right ones for my 2.2 4gen..

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Goodridge-Bra ... 43a76b6297

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Honda-Prelude ... 2eb394eda9

Also the difference between these two, is it just the colour of the lines?

If anyone has a better set to suggest please feel free

I wouldn't buy the zinc plated connectors as they are known to corrode. Get the SS connectors instead ;) I just had a look at the prices and holy jobby they have gone up in price!!! 3 years ago the SS Goodridge hoses were £70.

Yeah HEL lines are a lot cheaper and I think they all have SS connectors.

I bought the HEL lines, as Merlin says - all SS connectors. No problems so far 8-)

i used to have goodridge on my mx, but had to change them when i uprated the brakes so went to HEL. had no probs with either, except that on the goodridge splitter block i mangled my hard lines trying to tighten it up enough to stop it leaking, and the banjo bolts were made of cheese.

HEL have a lot more colours :)

my lude has goodridge hoses and they are fine, except that the clear plastic coating is cracked and split where they bend.
