probably in the states, but it will be ALOT of hassle imo and by the time you buy all the bits you may as well have bought a bb1 !

Maybe - but If you do want to do it - I'm removing all of mine! It's the wiring side of things that would probably be a bit of a nightmare.

Different ECUs I guess? Any ideas on total cost? I want a bb1 but the ones i've found are rotten, found 2 peachy bb4s though. Buy a rotten bb1 and restore or a peachy bb4 and implant.

Suppose I could buy a rotten bb1 for peanuts and transplant the bits side by side

why though

if the 4ws is got its own ecu.

then all you need is the front steering rack from a 4ws model with the sensors, the rear full rack + sensors, the loom that goes between, & the steering column plus the sensor & cut out for your exhisting steering wheel which is easy if you got a cutter forget filing down cuz you will be there for ages doing that... what else do you need>??

the rear hubs im sure are the same anyway

it is easier to buy a bb1 by the way and if you buy a rotton 1 then most likely the 4ws is gone

i wonder 5th gen 4ws.... does it fit hmmm

i fear the reason BB4 are in better nick is because they are all imports from Japan, try looking for BB1 imports plus they have more toys than the UK versions normally
