I know the Honda Access suspension setup is 25mm lower than original, but was it down to the springs being lower, or did the shocks have something to do with it

i thought the spring seats on the shocks were lower aswell, i think it was 10mm on the motegi ones!

Mugen Showa, honda Access and the Blue/yellow motegi suspension are all the same.
Better dampened shocks and 25mm lower.

so its the actual shocks that give you the 25mm drop, not the springs

I think springs seats on the shocks in the same place, springs are shorter

springs are shorter had them side by side
cant remember about the shocks, ideally you want them both together

Surely without the schematics or at least a compression test without the springs it'll be difficult to tell what's happening internally without already knowing?

I did have the springs rates actually somewhere compared to stock. The springs are shoter and stiffer and the shocks are better dampened all round.
