ATR twin pot brake upgrade - Done!

Hi all, I was after some ATR calipers and carriers for my Prelude as the fronts always felt like they were binding and after heavy braking started pulling. So I managed to source some from accordr.org with a bit of friendly guidence
Luckily for me the guy also included front grooved discs, red stuff pads (both of which had only covered approx 1000 miles) and HEL red braided hoses :D
I decided to also get a Biggred seal kit and refurb the calipers as I didn't want to be in the same position with binding brakes. Anyway after finally getting around to sorting the calipers I managed to get them fitted this weekend.

Overall I'm really happy with the outcome, braking power doesn't seem to be a huge increase over the standard calipers (although may need a re-bleed) but I feel I have so much more control now.
The seal kit wasn't too bad of a job if anyone if thinking of doing it themselves, you just need to make sure that the calipers are as clean as possible before starting. Also once the old seals are removed, the groove for the dust cover seal can get full of rust.
Make sure all the old rust is scraped out or the new seal won't even attempt to go in. The pistons themselves go back in fine with a bit of grease on them, I just used a pair of waterpump pliers and wood to ensure even pressure.

Next on the list is some 16/17" alloys. I like the 18" look but prefer a slightly softer ride.

Thanks :D

Car looks great. Considered front fogs? Great in the winter and will fill the bumper gaps nicely

Cheers for the rep LLL ;)
Nickyboy- Yeah I'm always on the look out, the original switch and loom is still fitted being an SIR but the old fogs where heavily corroded so I removed them. I'm just trying to do a bit at a time when funds allow, but JDM fogs are definately on the list of things to do.
I would also like to drop the ride height a little bit but worried it'll make it too firm. There's alot of country roads around me so that would be my main concern, hence the reason for wanting smaller wheels with a bigger sidewall.
