Lude Generation

Hi, can anybody point me in they right direction to buy 2 new front wheel hubs for my 4th gen. They seem to be discontinued, I can’t seem to find any aftermarket ones either.

You can buy aftermarket wheel bearings and have them pressed in but the whole knuckle/hub assembly has been discontinued for many years now and were very expensive anyway. Best bet is to find knuckle/hubs from a breaker or just replace the bearings.
I have a set of front hub/knuckles for 4th gen for BB4 (non abs type) but they are so heavy it would be almost impossible to ship them out safely so collection only from Edinburgh.

I’ve warped my hubs and need to replace them.

Thanks, I may have to get that from the states. I was hoping there was some company that makes aftermarket ones.

I think Vanzep is right...try to find someone breaking one. More than likely your best bet

Does anybody know, are 5th gen front wheel hubs the same as 4th with the exception of being 5 stud? If so has anybody ever re drilled them for 4 stud?

Wouldn't a set of 2.0i 5th gen one's fit being 4 stud ?
Not sure if they are exactly the same as the 4th gen one's or not.

If somebody could verify that would work perfectly.

I've done 5stud conversion to mine years ago. Everything match perfectly and I've done extended tracking with almost all measurements after conversion and it seams to be perfect like manual sais. The only issue I had was with driveshafts. 4gen outer cv joints are slightly different. The part which is going through wheel bearing is about 2mm longer than on 5gen. I started with 2mm washer and eventually changed driveshafts for ones form 5g. Again perfect fit. Can't comment on 4 lugs 2.0 5 gen and driveshafts compatibility but I would expect similar.
