Hi peeps!

Most of you know me now... and have seen that my lude is now, Low.

I want coilovers... Ive found some nice D2 racing ones, 36 way adjustables.

What are good, what are bad, what do i avoid??

Yer D2 are good. Pretty much the same as BC. You pre load the springs and leave them. You raise and lower the car using the shock body and not the spring. Keep more suspension travel.

After a bit of research, i found a few people with Meister R's and they were really happy with them. Think this is the route i will be going down... :D

meisterrs are the best compromise ive experienced for comfort/handling compromise for road use. had some d2s about 10 years ago when they were a new thing out, found them a bit harsh but the roads arnt the best round here.
unless you have a need for the ajustability well setup set of shocks and springs are a more pleasent drive. u gad eibach pro springs on bilstein b8 shocks on an old civic and that was a really nice setup but you looking at the same price as most budget coilovers on the market

I have miester R Zeta S coilovers on the 5th gen. HIghly reccomended. I was never into coilovers untill after my brother bought a set for his civic. he originally had D2's. The D2's were good if the road was super smooth but for everyday driving it was hell. far to hard /harsh and very stiff.

The miesters gave a compromise between both and provides good comfort for a daily drive if required.

Highly reccomended
