Lude Generation

Hi all,

I know on the 2ws subframe set up you obviously need the subframe and the 2 arms that hold the wheels straight... are there also lower control arms that go on these? Im getting the 2ws set up hopefully soon, and wanna make sure i have EVERYTHING before i get stuff powder coated.

the lca's are the same from 2ws to 4ws so you just need the control arms

Thanks muchly Ive sourced one... ( looks at @@4thgenphil ) hopefully he didnt bin the subframe so i can go collect it all soon

is it the toe control arms you are on about?

So is it just the sub frame itself and these arms you need? nothing else?

Sorry to hijack, just going to do this conversion myself.

Looks like it Ill check my lude tomorrow. as ive gotta take the bumper off the rear anyway!

As the RattyBot says the rear arms are the same. Lings lists the 2WS 2.0L and the 4WS 2.2 lower arms as the same:

So you'll need the 2WS rear sub frame and toe arms. Also best to get new toe arm bolts, plates, and nuts (parts 31, 33 & 57 in the first link) .


Edit - That is for 4th gen, didnt realise 5th gen was being talked about. It is still the same though for the 5th as well

thanks for the info any recommendations on aftermarket toe control arms? I've found some Megan racing ones?

Ooo ANY info on after market toe control arms i will apreciate also! And love the person that finds me some nice sexy ones <3 (preferably in a nice candy red) I have already looked for some but with no luck =(

That is what I got. I couldn't find much else.

I did find some nice sexy ones on a jap website but couldnt tell what make (obvious reasons)
