Traction Bars

Post by Mudgey » Thu Jan 17, 2013 12:57 pm

Hello,

My lude suffers from nasty wheel hop, it shakes the car completely and it feels like something falls off every time it happens! Whats the best way to combat this?

I have heard traction bars are the answer, I presume they replace the front lower cross member and the forward control arms, is this all that needs to be changed? Does anybody have any experience with them ?

Could be that your suspension bushes or engine mounts are worn, giving you wheel hop.

Checked all the front lower suspension today and couldn't find anything worn or loose. I also saw why there is no aftermarket traction bar available, those front control arms mount directly to the upright, and not the inboard LCA like on the UK Ludes..
