Probably a bit of a noob question but when the lude was having its mot today, when he jacked up the front and tried to spin the front wheels, they didn't.
On the brake test they were pulling even and passed as good but when driving you can feel you are driving against the front brakes. This explains why in the snow I hit the kerb because of the numpty in front, not only was I gear braking but the front brakes were partly on at the time.
Anybody know what this maybe as going to try stripping them down tommorow and freeing them up.
Could it be the lsd in the box locking up the drive shafts? Any help please!
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.

The rear I was expecting to fail as the calipers always seize, is the most common problem on ludes but my car was perfectly even on both sides on rear and front. But when jacked up off the floor to turn the front wheels feels like you have a handbrake pulled on half way on the front.

With no abs when you take the car for a damn good thrash the more you go the less the brakes get, and I have stopped before and you ould smell the heat coming from the front and a good spit at the discs and they will sizzle and spit back at youMerlin wrote:Do the wheels/brakes feel hot after a drive (you dont have to touch them)? That is a giveaway sign that your brake(s) need attention.
