Tow strap mounting point

Post by mart609 » Mon Feb 11, 2013 4:59 pm

Hey peeps
I want to fit my front tow strap, but I want it to be functional and not just aesthetic
Where is the front towing point on the 4g lude? or Where can it fit my tow strap?
Has anyone else fitted one?

i had the metal front tow ring but it was too low.
under the right side there is a bracket that it fits to but if you want a strap it has to be the long adjustable type ;)
my short one is just connected to the under tray or it wouldn't come out through the lip :D

just look where mine is and look about 6 inches further back. i was told that the brackets were for strapping the car to the boat deck when being imported but have been towed by this and have towed another connected to this bracket and it is strong enough ;)
