Need to put my spare wheel on as i have a quashed puncture due to bloody pot holes on the A36. Bloody criminal for a road that busy.
Anyway im not sure where best to wrench up the car, or even whether i should use a normal one because i have a full body kit on. The last thing i want to do is tear the kit off or damage and crack it.
Any ideas would be great
Cheers

Can you see the Jack points? They're usually far enough under the car to avoid the bodykit. Looks like a little rectangle sticking down, about 6 or 7 cm's from the front/back arch.

only jack points are under the front of youe skirts and the back. you will see the extra metal looking at you if you get low enough.
just be carefull but you should be alright as you are not lowered on full oem shocks.

The standard jack mounting points sit at a right angle to the floor of the car, there is one at each corner of the car just behind the side skirts. An alternative jack point is the chassis rails that run down the car. These are look like rectangular tubes built into the floor of the car. These are easily strong enough to hold the car. It is where I place my jack stands

use a standard jack to give you the room to put a trolley jack under there

Going to be doing it tomorrow now as im tired and offcourse its dark. All in all it should be ok, but i have no access to a trolly jack mercutio, will this be a problem, or will it still be quite straight forward with the jack providing i jack up in the right places. Just really dont want to do anything what so ever to the bodykit, as it was a hefty sum of money to get put on.
