Lowering....
I want to lower my car on a set of 16" that i have. But i don't know where to start.
Can anyone suggest a suspension kit or coilovers that would suit?
I want it to be lowered a decent amount, but to still keep the 4ws without rubbing.... to keep as much comfort as possible.
Any suggestions on make and lowering amount?

Well it depends why you are lowering it. If its just for looks a cheap set of coil overs will do. But if you want it for handling, unfortunately you get what you pay for. I have Bilstien shocks and springs on mine and it's fantastic!
Lowering any car is going to greatly affect comfort, but the results are generally worth it.

If you have the money I say get a set of coilovers. I found the ride to be a bit harsh on stock shocks and lowering springs. Also coilvers will allow you to cusomise your ride height. But coilovers will be £600 Vs £150 - £200 for decent springs.

I'd like coilovers but wasn't 100% that was the way forward.
I'm after Handling, but obviously looks is a Bonus.
If I had coilovers what set could you recommend?
Also how much would i get away with lowering it by without sacrificing anything?

I have a set of Tein lowering springs. They handle well and look a lot better than stock with a drop of 30mm, so also keeps good comfort, . It's a cheaper option too as its just springs.

I have Tein Basic's on both my Ludes (one bought brand new the other set 2nd hand). But if I were to buy brand new now I would look at D2 and BC coilovers are they are fully adjustable instead of just height.

I've had a set of Tein Basics and now moved on to BC Coilovers. Tein Basics are good but the BC Racing are just brilliant.
Damping, height and pre-load adjustable! And about the same price (if not cheaper?) than Tein Basics

My Bilstien shocks and springs were about £850, I think they are worth every penny. I love my prelude!

I have tein super streets, fully adjustable, the cars handling is superb. Not sure how much they are now, but I paid £1200 inc. Top mounts 2 years ago
