Lude Generation

Hello everyone, been a while since i have posted anything but i am in need of your help. My power steering pump is giving up and making a horrible noise. Can i just buy any prelude power steering pump or does it have to match the part number i habe currently?

If I recall correctly, the 5th gen pump is different/won't fit.
You'll need one from a 4th gen.
You can get re-manufactured ones from the states - or a rebuild kit so you can do it yourself (looks like it includes the seals but not the bearings, which you'd have to buy separately).

Plenty of ps pumps on ebay but most them from Lithuania.

thinking about it you cant be sure that the p.s pump you have is the original as it may have been replaced.
If you go to jp carparts website and enter the info on your car it should give you the p.s pump number and also list any alternative part numbers. That should help your search.
