Couple of niggly faults - any thoughts?

A couple of other niggly problems on the JDM;

1. Throttle pedal sticks in the up position when left for any length of time, needs a good prod to free it off. Otherwise operates absolutely fine.
Had this on some other (non-ludes) in the past and it was always obvious what the problem was, but on a very quick look the other day I couldn't see what it was. It's definitely the pedal, not the cable or butterfly valve. Anyone had this before?

2. Since fixing the 4ws ECU, the rear wheel steer squeaks when it steers. Haven't looked at this at all yet (low down the list of priorities) but just wondering if anyone has had this before and what it was?

the 2.3i i had, the pedal used to stick. was a nasty to get to spring right at the top of the pedal. did come off at one point and my kid almost broke his back trying to get to it :lol: fix was a can of white grease and a getto fix burger king straw extension nozzle :lol:

my 4ws used to creek and a good wirebrush and some copper grease seemed to cure that one :P

Throttle pedal sounds like something to do when I've got the seats out to change the carpet then... (Slightly easier access with no back breaking!)

Which bits on the 4ws was it that squeaked on yours?
