Please tell me I havent put them on the wrong way round!!

In the ES Master Kit there are bushes for the strut top mounts, coil isolators, and bump stops. We did the rear of the car first and when I was breaking down the rear shocks to replace bits I measured up the Tein bump stops with the ES ones. In the ES pack there are two sizes of bump stop, a short fat one, and a taller thinner one. The Tein rear bump stop exactly matched the height of short fat ES bump stop so I swapped them over and built up the rear of the car.

Now that im doing the front, when it cam to swap the front bumo stops over I have found that the fornt Tein bump stops are exactly the same as the rears :? But I am left with the taller thinner ES bump stops.

Do the taller thinner ES bump stop go on the front or rear shocks :?

Cheers

I couldn't say bud. Just know that my Teins have the same bump stops front and back, so that is definitely right. I can't recall whether my kit had fitting instructions or not, but I can check tonight if you like?

My kit has the instructions but said nothing about bump stops.

Hmm im thinking I may just cut the taller bump stops down to size. The bump stop cover only just goes over the top.

Yeah, the ones you have left over, how much taller and how much thinner are they?

You obviously do need to replicate the original Tein ones (the girth of it isn't so important), but too tall and you'll max out prematurely (You obviously know this, but thought I'd say it anyway ;-) )

dont use PU bump stops at all they they will fail apart as PU dont act like rubber.

I had to replace the OE Tein ones on mine because they had cracked as well. They crack! ;-)
