caliper refurb

Currently refurbing my atr calipers . What the best grease to use on the slider pins.

I always use a high temp lithium based grease. But you can get little tubes of "brake" grease. Definitely do not use copper grease.

Cheers mate. Yeah there seem to be a lot of mixed reviews on usin copper grease

Yup silicon grease is the stuff we use. From mintex too :shock: :D

Thats what the manual says to use - silicon grease

If you are not regular with brake maintenance silicone grease will deffo the better to use. When I use lithium grease I do give the rubbers a good smearing with red rubber grease to protect them.
